Food Services

The Victorian Patient Satisfaction Monitor report for the six months ending March 2001 showed that Swan Hill District Hospital achieved results significantly higher than average in relation to the quality of our food and the temperature of the meals on delivery.
The Food Production Service consists of a team of qualified Chefs, of which three have completed their apprenticeship at the Swan Hill District Health.

The department also outsources catering services to other Government agencies and private functions.  Environmental services provides delivery of meals.
