PACE Program

Physical activity is important for everybody. It can reduce your risk of heart disease, stroke, diabetes, mental illness and obesity. It can also reduce your stress levels, improve your mood, body image and help you to live a happier and healthier life. However Australian adults are not participating in enough physical activity for good health.

This is why the Health Promotion Department at Swan Hill District Health is launching a new service to help support and motivate people to become more physically active. Called PACE (Physical Activity Community Enabler) the service is free to Swan Hill and District residents over the age of 18. The service offers participants professional tailored advice and motivation through regular telephone calls.

Available now and completely FREE. See brochure (click on link below) for more information or contact Tegan Carrison, p: (03) 5033 9337 e: tcarrison@shdh.org.au
