The types of services offered by the speech pathologist are: * Consultancy - on issues relating to children's speech and language development, either by phone or in person * Health Promotion - including talks to parent and community groups about language development and language stimulation techniques * Assessment of individual children. This can be a screening assessment of children that parents/teachers are concerned about, or a more detailed assessment of children found to have communication disorders. * Assessment and management of adults with communication difficulties following brain injury. * Management of children and adults with swallowing difficulties
