The packages have been developed to: -Promote a sense of community by providing all local businesses with an opportunity to support our major regional health care provider. -Bring local businesses together with a common 'community building' promotional focus. -To provide our partners (sponsors) to be publicly acknowledged by SHDH for their support. The appointed persons are: Don & Bev Merritt, Jim & Bev Roberts, Graeme Clark, Michael Turner and Edna Palmer. The role of the Ambassador is to assist the CEO in liaising with business and community groups to discuss opportunities for donations to the hospital. Such donations may be tied to specific equipment or services. Donations will be acknowledges publicly and where specific items of equipment are funded, a plaque will be inscribed with the words ‘proudly donated by…’The hospital is proud to have this dedicated support from the Ambassadors. The services from the hospital to its community will be enhanced through support from the local business and community groups.
